ZOOMIN GROOMIN – UTAH AREA REPRESENTATIVE OPPORTUNITY

14-Territory Franchise Development Package | Salt Lake City and Surrounding Utah Markets

An exciting opportunity to acquire a Zoomin Groomin Area Representative business with development rights to 14 territories across Utah. Established in 2023, this home-based opportunity is ideal for an investor or franchise development professional seeking to grow an established mobile pet grooming brand in a market with continued demand for convenient pet services.

The Opportunity

The package includes 14 territories, with 2 already sold and 12 undeveloped territories available for future franchise development. The business provides an opportunity to recruit franchisees, support regional growth, and build long-term revenue through continued territory development. The business is fully paid off, and no dedicated physical facility is required.

This advertisement is not an offer to purchase a franchise. A franchise offer can only be made by delivery of a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). The following states regulate the offer and sale of franchises: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. This advertisement is not directed to residents of these states, and we will not offer or sell a franchise in those states until all necessary registration, filing, and disclosure requirements have been met. Growth opportunities

Pet grooming has evolved beyond aesthetics into an important part of routine pet wellness, with increasing emphasis on skin, coat, and overall hygiene. This growing focus on pet health creates an opportunity to expand the Zoomin Groomin brand throughout the 14 Utah territories, including 12 undeveloped territories available for future franchise development. The new owner can grow revenue by recruiting and awarding new franchisees, expanding the Zoomin Groomin network across the remaining protected territories, and building recurring royalty income as additional franchise locations become operational. With an established franchise system, existing brand recognition, and significant undeveloped territory potential, this opportunity offers a scalable platform for long-term growth. An owner with the time, resources, and franchise development experience to actively pursue expansion can build upon the existing foundation and grow the brand's presence across Utah's mobile pet grooming market.

Reason for Selling

My husband owns his own businesses and I have too much going on with my kids to really grow this how it could be!

About Zoomin Groomin

Zoomin Groomin is a mobile pet grooming franchise. A groomer drives a fully equipped van to the customer’s driveway and works one-on-one with each dog or cat, with no cages or kennels, using plant-based products and a water-efficient bathing system. Services cover full grooms, baths, nail trims and deshedding, and regular clients rebook every four to six weeks.

The business is home-based, with no storefront or lease. Each franchisee holds a protected territory of roughly 125,000 to 165,000 residents and adds vans as demand builds, usually with one or two groomers per van. Owners are not expected to groom; the franchisor describes an executive-management model that can be run full-time or semi-absentee with a manager.

Founded in 2004, the brand has been franchised in its current form since 2021 by Loyalty Brands, the Virginia Beach group led by John T. Hewitt, founder of Jackson Hewitt and Liberty Tax. Its sister pet brands include Cooper’s Scoopers and Hike Doggie. Josh Fitzgerald, an early franchisee who still owns units, became CEO in 2025. The network has expanded quickly across the US since 2023, so many vans are still in their first years of trading.

Franchisee Support

Initial training combines 4 hours of prerequisite virtual learning with 3 days of classroom instruction (24 hours) at Loyalty Brands' Virginia Beach headquarters, plus on-the-job training as needed. Franchisees then join weekly operations and support calls, with central help on marketing, technology and HR. Scheduling, routing, payments and client records run through an iPad-based CRM, online booking runs on MoeGo, and automated rebooking and lapse-recovery messages support retention. Resale buyers should confirm what training incoming owners and retained groomers receive, and that client records and booking history transfer with the sale.

Brand Accolades & Awards

Zoomin Groomin entered Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 at #280 in 2025 and rose to #233 in 2026. Entrepreneur also ranked it #31 among Fastest-Growing Franchises in 2025 (the highest-placed pet brand) and #37 in 2026, #17 among Top Franchises for Less Than $100,000 in 2026 and #138 among Top Franchises for Veterans in 2025. It appeared in Franchise Direct's Top 100 for 2024 and is an International Franchise Association member. For resale buyers, these brand-level signals sit alongside a unit's own Google reviews, referral sources and the daily visibility of its vans.

Industry / Market

US pet industry spending reached $158 billion in 2025 and is projected at $165 billion for 2026, with 53% of households (71 million) owning a dog, according to the American Pet Products Association. Grand View Research expects the US pet grooming services market to reach $2.99 billion by 2030, growing 6.7% a year from 2025, and names at-home and mobile services among the delivery options adding convenience. Mobile grooming is still largely independent-led. For resale buyers, local dog density, household income and drive time between stops shape what a territory can support.

Ideal Owner

Grooming skill is not required or expected: owners hire professional groomers and run the business. The role is staffing-led and marketing-led, and suits people comfortable recruiting and keeping skilled employees, managing schedules and routes, and serving customers who treat pets as family. The franchisor targets career changers, family teams and investors planning several vans, and working groomers who want their own business also fit. Semi-absentee ownership is presented as an option once a manager is in place, though many owners start full-time. Patience with a growth path that depends on hiring helps.
