• What does Franchise Flippers do?

  Franchise Flippers runs a marketplace dedicated to franchise resales and offers advisory services to franchise buyers and sellers. Owners list existing franchises for sale on the Franchise Flippers Marketplace and buyers search them by brand, industry, state and price range. Resale Advisors help sellers with pricing strategy, exit planning and marketing, while Buying Experts help with choosing the right franchise, lender introductions and deal support. Franchise Flippers also runs the Resale Broker Network for franchise consultants and resale plans for franchisors.

• How much does it cost to list a franchise for sale?

  Franchise Flippers Marketplace listings start at $79 per month for a Standard listing, with a Featured listing at $99 per month and a Premium Listing, which includes a custom Exit Roadmap, for a one-time fee of $699. Premium listings stay active on our marketplace until you sell your franchise. There is no commission charged on Marketplace sales. Our Franchise Exit Roadmap creates a plan for selling your franchise, offers insight from a Resale Advisor to guide your way, and resources to help you effectively work with buyers. We can also help you assess the realistic market value of your franchise and recommend a pricing strategy based on your personal situation by completing a Franchise Value Assessment which costs $899. • Does Franchise Flippers charge a commission?

  No, Franchise Flippers does not charge percentage-based commissions. However, the 3rd party franchise consultants and business brokers we work with do where applicable. Listing a franchise for sale on the Marketplace is commission-free and costs only the listing fee. The Marketing Assistance Program has an upfront fee and a fixed success fee when the sale completes. If a seller has opted-in to the Resale Broker Network, they pay a finder’s fee to the consultant who introduces the successful buyer (which is a percentage of the sale price), and a fixed success fee to Franchise Flippers when the franchise sells. With the Fully Managed Broker Solution, the seller pays Franchise Flippers an upfront Marketing Services fee to build the campaign and then a success fee (which is a percentage of the sale price), to the broker who manages the transaction when the franchise sells.

• Does Franchise Flippers work with franchisors?

  Yes, Franchise Flippers offers resale services specifically tailored to franchisors. The Resale Partner Plan gives a brand an outsourced resale team for its franchisees, and the Resale Promotion Plan gives brands that manage resales in-house volume pricing on listings. Both plans allow the brand’s listings to be enrolled in the Resale Broker Network.

• Where does Franchise Flippers operate?

  Franchise Flippers is based in Fort Collins, Colorado, and serves franchise buyers, sellers and franchisors across the United States and Canada.

• How do I find out what my franchise is worth?

  While setting the asking price of your business is ultimately up to you, we can provide you with a Value Assessment which gives you a realistic market price for your franchise and a pricing strategy based on your specific circumstances. We review your financial statements, work out the true cash flow of your business, and compare it with industry standards and similar franchises that have sold. The result tells you what your franchise is likely to sell for and the right asking price to take to market, so you can speak confidently with buyers about the value of your business. A Value Assessment costs just $899 for most single-location franchises, and it is not a formal business appraisal.

• What is the Resale Broker Network?

  The Resale Broker Network is an opt-in service which shows franchise resales offering a finder’s fee to franchise consultants from multiple broker networks. A seller lists once, and if a consultant introduces the buyer who completes the purchase, the seller pays that consultant a finder’s fee and pays Franchise Flippers a fixed success fee. If no consultant introduces the buyer, the seller pays neither.

• Do I need to disclose the name or logo of my franchise brand?

  You don’t have to provide your brand name or logo in your franchise for sale listing. You can keep things confidential, or whenever possible, we recommend leveraging the strength and recognition of your franchise brand by including it in your listing to attract more buyers.

• Do you offer a discount if I want to sell multiple franchises?

  Yes. If you have more than one franchise for sale, we offer discounts for multiple listings. Contact us for information.

• Do you sell new franchise territories?

  To help your business stand out from the new franchise and non-franchise business crowd, Franchise Flippers only lists operating franchise businessesfor sale or individual territories that are being re-sold by a franchise owner.
