The Dog Wizard in Louisville, KY, offers a standout opportunity in the booming pet care sector. Established in 2016, this franchise has shown impressive growth and resilience, particularly over the past three years post-Covid. ---> Located in Oldham County, near Louisville, it taps into a wealthy, underserved market. Moving to a larger 10,000 sq ft facility from its original Louisville location has significantly enhanced service offerings and customer reach. ---> Financially, the franchise has soared from $53,020 in revenue in 2020 to $386,741 in 2023. Cash flow has consistently averaged around $90,000 over the past three years, peaking at $123,019 in 2021, showcasing profitability and potential. ---> At its core, the franchise is celebrated for customer satisfaction, boasting nearly 60 five-star reviews. Its strong referral network from veterinarians and doggie daycares underlines the quality of its services. ---> The seller has prioritized dog training over boarding, maintaining only a small staff of 3 FT employees. As a result, the franchise regularly faces more boarding requests than it can handle. This indicates ample room for growth. Consider adding staff to extend boarding beyond training clients and to re-establish the doggie daycare. The demand is there and it would allow the franchise to diversify revenue streams. ---> The current owner commits about 40 hours weekly to the business, specifically to dogs that board and train, office tasks, and strategic planning. There are 2 amazing employees that clients rave about. Included in the sale are professional agility equipment, high-grade kennels, a grooming tub, and essential training supplies, totaling around $25,000 in value. ---> This venture is a pawsome opportunity for an animal-loving entrepreneur ready to steer a business that brings joy to both clients and their pets. It’s primed for a new owner to build upon its solid reputation and financial stability. Come take the lead! ---> Inquire now for NDA!
Seller works about 40 hours. I handle office work (answering phone calls, calling leads, doing evaluations over the phone, and scheduling programs). Corporate does offer a service to handle the office work. [I currently transport training and boarding dogs back and forth from the facility to my home. They could stay at the facility overnight (this is just my preference) and with a new owner that would not be a responsibility they would have to take on.]
