Buy a Floral Image Franchise

Floral Image is a B2B decor subscription service. Franchisees place lifelike designer floral arrangements in client premises and swap each one for a new design every month, so the client never waters, cleans or replaces anything. Typical accounts include medical and dental practices, aged care homes, car dealerships, hotels, restaurants, salons and corporate reception areas. New clients usually start with a free trial before moving to a monthly plan.

The arrangements are leased from the franchisor rather than bought outright. Owners run a mobile, route-based operation from a branded van and a small storage space inside an exclusive territory, with no retail shopfront. Weekdays are split between prospecting, clustered refresh routes and invoicing.

The brand began in Australia in 2000, when two founders who had run an indoor plant business moved into designer flowers, and it now operates in 16 countries. The US franchisor has offered franchises since 2014. In 2023 an investor group, Floral Image North America, bought a majority stake in it; the founders kept a minority interest and still own the Australian company that makes the arrangements.

Why buy a Floral Image Franchise?

The main appeal of a Floral Image franchise is a monthly subscription model that rebuilds the same revenue each month. A well-run territory shows its income in a client list rather than one-off sales, and almost any business with a reception area is a prospect.

Overhead stays modest: a van, storage space and leased stock rather than premises, kitchen equipment or a large payroll. Growth comes from route density, packing more placements into each refresh day. More than 25 years of operating history and work for dealerships, hotels and healthcare providers give a local owner credible references in sales calls.

Floral Image – Additional  Information

  1. Training & Support

Training starts in an established market, then runs five days in the owner's own territory. Owners follow the P.L.A.N.T., G.R.O.W. and S.U.N. sales framework, with a Business Coach for the first 90 days. Required tools are Salesforce CRM, Leadbeam routing, Xero, Outlook and Slack. Ongoing support includes the monthly Garden Party franchisee meeting, regular sales and business calls, and peer learning. Resale buyers should confirm what Business Coach time an incoming owner gets and whether Salesforce client history transfers.

  2. Ideal Owner

Floral Image suits an owner-operator who likes meeting people and is comfortable with face-to-face B2B selling. Industry or floristry experience is not required, though an eye for design helps. The role combines walking into local businesses to place trials, running a disciplined weekly refresh route and keeping on top of invoicing, usually within weekday business hours. Sales, hospitality or account-management backgrounds fit well. It is less suited to someone who wants to work remotely, avoid cold outreach or run the business semi-absentee.

  3. Recognition & Awards

Floral Image's founders were finalists in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2017, recognition the company still features in its history. The brand serves more than 40,000 business clients across 16 countries, and its US case studies include work for Mercedes-Benz dealerships and Morton's Steakhouse. Floral Image displays a 4.9-star average from more than 1,400 client reviews on its US website. For resale buyers, the reputation that matters most is local: Google reviews, renewal rates and referrals from existing accounts in the territory.

  4. Industry / Market

Floral Image sits between the commercial floral and interior-decor markets. Technavio forecasts the US artificial plants and flowers market to grow by $400.4 million between 2026 and 2030, a 3.5% compound annual rate, while Grand View Research expects US artificial flower sales to grow at 5.0% a year through 2030, driven by demand for durable, low-maintenance decor in homes and commercial spaces. Demand depends on the local mix of customer-facing businesses (clinics, dealerships, hotels and offices), so resale buyers should look at the density of these accounts in the territory.
