Pay a fair fee for a successful sale
The Resale Broker Network is a platform, managed by Franchise Flippers, that enables individual franchise listings to be exposed to the broader franchise consultant ecosystem. By opting into the Network, your listing visibility extends beyond the Resale Exchange, to the nationwide network of franchise consultants, franchise coaches and franchise brokers — each actively working with a unique pool of franchise buyers seeking the right franchise to purchase.
Franchise sellers access this Network by making their resale listing eligible for a finders fee, meaning they agree to pay a fair fee if a franchise consultant introduces the successful buyer through the Resale Broker Network. The finders fee is the greater of 10% of the sales price or $12,000 and not to exceed $50,000.
The Resale Broker Network significantly expands the potential reach of your listing, increasing the likelihood of attracting qualified buyers and improving the chances of achieving a successful resale within a shorter timeframe. In effect, it expands a privately marketed opportunity into one that connects sellers with franchise consultants and their buyers in your local market and all across the country.
* You will need to have an active listing on the Franchise Flippers Resale Exchange in order to participate in the Resale Broker Network.
How the Network Works
The Resale Broker Network creates a structured way for franchise resale opportunities and franchise consultants to connect.
1
A Resale is Listed on the Resale Broker Network
A franchisor or franchisee lists a resale opportunity on Franchise Flippers. If they want to attract introductions from franchise consultants, they can choose to make the listing eligible for the Resale Broker Network.
2
The Seller Confirms the finders Fee
To participate in the network, the seller agrees to pay a standard fair referral fee if a franchise consultant introduces the buyer who ultimately purchases the business. Consultants know a finders fee is available before they refer a candidate.
3
The Listing Is Shared with the Broker Network
Once approved, the listing becomes visible to approved franchise consultants through the Resale Broker Network. Instead of being shared with only a small number of brokers, the opportunity becomes visible across the broader franchise consultant ecosystem.
4
Consultants Introduce Qualified Buyers
Franchise consultants working with buyers interested in the opportunity can introduce their candidate to the seller. If their candidate ultimately completes the purchase, the consultant receives the agreed finders fee.
